What are your surgery hours?
Our surgery is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. All appointments can be made on 02 7252 2842.
Can I book an open access endoscopy or colonoscopy?
If you need a gastroscopy or colonoscopy and you are in a health fund or a self-funded private patient, you may be suitable to have this booked as an open access procedure. This means your colonoscopy with Dr MacDermid can be arranged and booked over the telephone with our practice nurse, without having to wait for an appointment with Dr MacDermid beforehand.

What do I bring to my next appointment?
- GP or specialist referral
- Medicare Card and Health Insurance Card details
- Pathology results
- Discharge letters or doctor reports
- Scans, X-Ray films
- If you’ve had surgery any operative reports
- List of current medications, herbal medicines and allergies

Parking is available at the back of our rooms on Macquarie Street, Windsor. We also have wheelchair access with a lift at this location.

What is an acceptable means of payment?
All bills must be paid on the day, (or via afterpay) and we accept all major credit cards and cash.

What is your Covid-19 policy?
We respectfully ask that all patients call us first if they have any of the following symptoms:
- Cough
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Shortness of breath
- Have tested positive for COVID-19 in past 14 days
- Have travelled overseas, to Victoria or other COVID-19 hotspots in the past 14 days
- For the safety of all our patients we will also ask you to use the NSW COVID-19 Service App to sign in and that you wear a mask.
What forms do I need to fill out?
- As a new patient we request you complete the medical and dental health form.
